Penfida has established a successful track record as financial adviser to many of the UK’s major pension schemes, often advising against the background of the most complex recent corporate transactions.
Over the last three years, Penfida has acted or is acting for over 60 major UK pension schemes, including 18 whose sponsor companies are or were FTSE 100 constituents.
Overall, Penfida has worked on a wide range of advisory roles ranging from covenant reviews, advice on preparation for possible corporate events, advice on scheme funding discussions with sponsors and dealing with the regulator, to advice in relation to major corporate transactions.
Whilst some of our advisory assignments have been high profile reflecting the individual circumstances of a client, the bulk of our work has typically been confidential corporate finance advice. A significant component has been valuation of the employer covenant and discreetly securing an appropriate and durable long term outcome.
